    The food was fresh, properly cooked and of a standard you would want and expect .Staff were very friendly and efficient . And what an attractive staff team too, especially the gloriously handsome Sikh head chef with the most magnificent coat hanger styled moustache. It's worth going in to view the moustache!Like most fish and chip places they give far too many chips , whereas it would be better for a much smaller portion at less cost.A good fish and chip shop with a wide menu.

    I left a bad review on just eat without thinking so I’m hoping to make amends here! I didn’t think my food was showing up after hours, after speaking to the delivery guy, it’d been a crazy night. My food showed up nice and hot and they were apologetic about it. Apologies for the Jude eat review! Your food is lovely and so are the staff so thank you and apologies!

    ..I'm sorry if I go against the trend in the previous reviews...but ...the batter is nothing like I've tasted before...unbelievably unpleasant to eat....horrible....recipie: self raising flour...live yeast bottled beer....not canned....mix to consistency of custard ....leave overnight to use the next day...simples

    Mariners serve the best fish I have eaten in a long time (not too greasy), cooked to perfection, compliments to the owner and staff. They have a wide choice of food and serve very good portions. Delivery drivers are friendly and very polite. I would highly recommend giving them a try. In my opinion, they are very busy and you may have to wait a little longer for your meal but well worth the wait.
